The Path to Human Centered AI

While big tech worked to make AI pretend to be human, we trained ours to help us better understand ourselves.

I have been a prolific writer and speaker about the need for a human centered version of AI in the workplace - and increasingly in our lives in general. When I speak from small stages, and small forums, the tech-bro’s tell international audiences that every job will likely be taken by the machines they are spending trillions on building. They speak in terms of inevitability as if they have no part or profit in the outcome. These tech overlords are racing us all into their dystopian techno-feudalism.

In December 2023, HeroBridge had reached a significant milestone - the ability to use years of our own data to predictively equip mentors with just-in-time strategies and resources to improve the outcomes of those they sought to improve outcomes. This tool we called “Landspeeder” the reason for which was detailed in the article, but suffice it to say that it delivered what we had dreamed of from the start - the ability to use Bayesian decision science to build and support Lewin positive force fields within the lives of those attempting to overcome barriers of any kind. The force field were surprisingly simple when properly equipped comprising of productive peer relationship and frictionless access to resources, delivered just in time.

The more technology enhances and augments our lives, we must mobilize mentorship lest we create a new marginalized class of global citizen - the intelligence-divide has begun.

This advice was sadly unheeded. But we persisted in building the next generation of community technology equipped to meet where the world is heading. Tools that can assist organizations of all kinds - companies, governments, community organizations, schools stay connected to the one thing that is the most important part of being human - our humanity. Our dignity. Our right to industry. The right to have technology serve us, not replace us. These are not fictional fears, this is coming right now.

It is with great pride and pleasure that we will be releasing and rebranding ourselves HERO One Eleven. A complete full stack community technology for the age of technology. We have rebuilt our infrastructure and are prototyping this next generation of human super performance toolkit that uses a specialized AI agent ‘colony’ to wrap around the specific needs of the individual, the team or community. It’s a way different and better Future of Work and Future of Human Life that is dignified, with solidarity and respect for subsidiarity of the most incredible of God’s creations - the human being.

The goal is the frictionless coupling of AI enhanced mentorship with proven resources that facilitate the rational and ethical adoption of AI in the workplace. A Ben Kenobi sitting shotgun in a landspeeder for everyone has been our goal since we began, and now GPTs and our own data pool have made it possible. Just in time. We hope.
